About the Role
Working for a company specialising in innovative control and automation systems for critical infrastructure, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful delivery of projects while maintaining and developing strong client relationships. In addition to managing scope, budget, and timelines, this role has a strong focus on team leadership, client engagement, and identifying new business opportunities to support continued growth.
This role is ideal for a Project Manager with a technical engineering background and a good understanding of PLC/SCADA control systems, who is confident managing project economics, risk, and compliance, while acting as a key interface between clients, project teams, and senior management.
Key Responsibilities
*Collaborate with senior management and clients to define project scope, objectives, budgets, and timelines.
*Lead projects from inception through to completion, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to agreed quality standards.
*Develop, maintain, and adapt detailed project plans, schedules, and documentation.
*Manage project budgets, including cost estimation, expense tracking, financial reporting, and cost control.
*Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, implementing contingency plans as required.
*Provide regular project status, financial, and performance updates to internal and external stakeholders.
*Assign and manage project resources effectively, ensuring workloads are balanced and aligned with skills and experience.
*Lead, coach, and develop project teams through clear direction, mentoring, performance feedback, and training support.
*Proactively engage with clients to ensure satisfaction, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for repeat or new business.
*Support business development activities, including opportunity identification, proposal development, and client retention.
*Ensure all project activities comply with relevant quality, health & safety, environmental, and information security standards, including ISO 9001, ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001.
