Site Engineer – Highways Project (Contract)

?? £350 per day (Umbrella – PAYE)

The Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a live highways project in Newton Abbot on a contract basis. This is a long-term opportunity on a well-established scheme, suitable for a proactive engineer with solid highways and civils experience.
Key Responsibilities *Setting out for highways works including drainage, kerbing, earthworks and pavement construction
*Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built drawings
*Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with drawings, specifications and programme requirements
*Working closely with Site Management, subcontractors and the wider project team
*Ensuring all works comply with current health & safety standards
Essential Criteria *Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Site Engineer on civil engineering / highways projects
*Civil Engineering qualification
*Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Office and Trimle
*Strong understanding of health & safety policies and procedures
*Ability to prioritise time-critical work
*Excellent communication and liaison skills
*SMSTS
*First Aid
*Relevant CSCS card
*Full UK driving licence
