Our Client, Salford Council, is seeking a Team Manager to join their Children’s Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Manage, coach, and mentor staff to ensure high-performance, offering regular supervision and support for professional development.
*Oversee the quality of Pathway Plans, ensuring they are timely, compliant with legislation, and focused on securing stable accommodation, education, and employment for young people.
*Ensure all services meet legal requirements (e.g., Children & Social Work Act 2017) and advocate on behalf of young people to secure necessary resources and services.
*Collaborate with internal and external partners—including housing, health, and education departments—to enhance the corporate parenting offer and support network.
*Monitor team performance targets, manage budgets, and handle risk assessment and safeguarding procedures.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
*Must have minimum of 3 years’ Post Qualifying Experience
