Client Service Manager – Digital Marketing Agency
Are you an experienced Client Service Manager / Senior Client Account Manager with a background in digital marketing? We’re looking for a sophisticated strategic leader who can operate at the intersection of high-level business consultancy and modern digital marketing to join an award-winning innovative Digital Marketing Agency in Stoke.
You’ll be the commercial guardian of their most valuable client relationships, specifically their new £240k/annum technical accounts. You must be as comfortable facilitating a Board-level strategy session as you are analysing the lifetime value (LTV) and opportunity cost of our large client portfolio.
On offer is an attractive salary of £40,000 - £50,000 dependent on experience, pension, hybrid-working available, cycle to work scheme, free flu jabs, onsite parking and regular company social events.


Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities


Board-Level Facilitation & Strategic Alignment
*Vision Mapping: Translate a client’s overarching business vision and 3-year goals into actionable marketing strategies.
*C-Suite Influence: Build immediate authority and confidence with CEOs and Stakeholders in the engineering and defence sectors.
*Executive Presence: Facilitate high-stakes workshops and QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews) that pivot from "tactical updates" to "strategic growth consulting."
Advanced Commercial Management
*LTV & Opportunity Cost: Audit the client base to identify which accounts are high-value and which present an "opportunity cost" to the agency’s growth.
*Agency Commercial Support: Support the MD in the commercial running of our 30-person agency, including resource forecasting and profitability modelling.
*Contractual Stewardship: Manage complex service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure our largest accounts remain both high-performing and high-margin.
Data Mastery & Predictability
*KPI Architecture: Design robust KPIs that go beyond "vanity metrics" to measure true ROI.
*Predictive Analytics: Use historical reporting data to forecast future performance, identify market trends, and proactively adjust client strategies before results dip.
*Performance Reporting: Standardise how the agency communicates value to clients, ensuring every pound spent is justified by a return.
Campaign & ABM Leadership
*Account-Based Marketing (ABM): Develop bespoke "Market-of-One" strategies for our largest accounts to deepen penetration within their global business units.
*Multi-Channel Excellence: Overhaul our campaign-led approach to ensure technical B2B audiences are reached through integrated, high-impact digital journeys.


What we’re looking for;
*You’ll be an experienced Client Service Manager / Senior Account Manager within the digital marketing space. You’ll need prior experience in working within an agency
*Ability to translate vision and goals into robust marketing strategies
*Sound skills in commercial management
*Commutable to Stoke area – this is a hybrid role with at least a couple of days per week in the office
