Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer - FMCG Manufacturing Salary: up to £50,000 DOE
Shift Pattern: Continental shifts
The Role
A leading FMCG manufacturer is seeking a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a highly automated production facility following a major site investment programme. The role supports cutting-edge production lines including robotics, conveyors, and advanced processing equipment.
You will play a key role in ensuring equipment reliability, supporting continuous improvement, and maintaining high operational standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities * Electrical and mechanical fault finding on FMCG production machinery
* Maintenance of automated lines, conveyors, and palletiser robots
* PLC fault diagnostics and minor modifications
* Working on hydraulics, pneumatics,
* Supporting processing and packaging equipment
* Fabrication and machining where required
* Participation in planned and reactive maintenance
About You * Level 3 qualification in Engineering / Mechatronics
* Apprenticeship trained or time-served engineer
* Confident fault-finding on PLC-controlled systems
* Ex-Forces candidates welcome
Package * Salary: up to £50,000 DOE
* Overtime
* Pension: 7% employer contribution
* 6-month probation,
