Job Description:
I am working on behalf of a prominent and highly regarded firm of accountants in East Kent that is seeking to appoint a Qualified Management Accountant as part of its continued strategic growth.
This is a high-profile role within the firm, offering exposure to a number of its most prestigious and complex clients. The position combines hands-on technical delivery with a strong review and advisory element, making it ideal for a commercially minded management accountant looking for long-term progression within practice.
The role
*Preparation and review of management accounts for a portfolio of key clients
*Working closely with business owners and senior stakeholders to interpret financial performance
*Providing meaningful commentary, analysis, and forward-looking insight
*Reviewing work produced by junior team members while remaining technically hands-on
*Supporting partners with high-value client relationships and ongoing advisory work
The ideal candidate
*Fully qualified management accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA)
*Strong experience producing and reviewing management accounts within practice or a client-facing environment
*Confident communicator, comfortable dealing with senior clients and explaining complex financial information clearly
*Commercially astute, with a proactive and solution-focused mindset
*Ambitious and motivated by long-term career development
