Job Description:
Production Coordinator, EIMEA (Outsourced)
(hybrid working, office location Litlington, South Cambridgeshire)

The role:
Key Responsibilities:
Production & Order Management
*Oversee the end-to-end progress of all customer orders to ensure timely delivery
*Monitor production schedules and proactively identify risks to delivery timelines
*Coordinate updates to internal systems and order trackers
Supplier Coordination
*Liaise with outsourced manufacturers to agree delivery schedules and meet required timeline
*Follow up on open orders to confirm progress, shipment dates, and any delays
Quality Assurance Support
*Arrange quality inspections with internal QA teams or external inspectors
*Track inspection results, manage feedback loops, and ensure corrective actions are completed
Cross-Functional Communication
*Work closely with Project Management, Logistics/ Demand Planning teams to communicate accurate delivery dates and production status
*Provide regular updates on order risks, delays, and capacity issues
Documentation & Reporting
*Maintain accurate records of production schedules, supplier updates, and inspection reports
*Prepare regular status reports for internal stakeholders
*Ensure all documentation required for shipping and compliance is completed on time
Issue Resolution
*Identify and escalate potential production or supply chain bottlenecks early
*Coordinate with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues impacting delivery
*Support continuous improvement initiatives
Key Requirements & Skills:
*2–5 years’ experience in production coordination, buying, supply chain, or operations within manufacturing, packaging, or a vendor-driven environment
*Experience working with outsourced manufacturers or contract suppliers, ideally with international suppliers
*Strong follow-up discipline on open orders, lead times, and shipment confirmations
*Ability to identify delivery risks and bottlenecks early and escalate appropriately
*Strong proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (tracking, reporting, basic analysis)
*Comfortable maintaining order trackers, production schedules, and documentation
*Clear, confident communicator with suppliers and internal teams
*Experience working cross-functionally with Logistics, Demand Planning, QA, and Project Management
*Able to provide regular, structured status updates to stakeholders
*Strong organizational and prioritization skills in a high-volume environment
