Description
*Prepare statutory accounts for sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies
*Assist with and prepare management accounts for a varied client base
*Prepare and review corporation tax returns and support personal tax compliance
*Support bookkeeping processes and review work using cloud accounting software
*Liaise directly with clients, acting as a day-to-day point of contact
*Respond to client queries and provide clear, practical accounting support
*Review work prepared by junior staff and provide guidance where required
*Support managers and partners with ad hoc accounting and advisory projects
*Ensure work is completed accurately and in line with agreed deadlines
Profile
*Part-qualified or qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent)
*Experience gained within an accountancy practice environment
*Strong grounding in statutory accounts preparation
*Exposure to corporation tax and basic personal tax compliance
*Confident communicator with the ability to deal directly with clients
*Organised, proactive, and keen to continue developing professionally
