The Role - School Librarian, Hounslow
As a School Librarian, you will support the day-to-day running of the school library, ensuring it remains a well-organised, welcoming, and effective learning space for students and staff.
Key responsibilities include:
*Managing and organising library resources and materials
*Supporting students with reading, research, and library use
*Assisting teaching staff with access to learning resources
*Maintaining a calm, professional, and inclusive library environment
*Supporting literacy and independent learning where required
Requirements:
*Previous school librarian or library-based experience is essential
*Strong organisational and communication skills
*Confidence working with children and young people
*Professional, reliable, and punctual
*A genuine interest in education and supporting student learning
*Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
