Legal Assistant - Part Time
About the role An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Legal Assistant to join a friendly, sociable and welcoming team based in Haywards Heath. This is a permanent, office-based position, ideal for a graduate or someone early in their legal career who brings a proactive, can-do attitude and enjoys being part of a busy support function.
The Legal Assistant will play a key role in keeping the office running smoothly, supporting fee earners and contributing to both compliance and marketing activity. This is a varied role where no two days look the same and where enthusiasm and reliability are truly valued.
What we are looking for This Legal Assistant role would suit someone who enjoys being hands-on and takes pride in getting things done.
Key requirements include:
*A positive, can-do attitude with a willingness to muck in
*Friendly, outgoing and confident communicator
*Graduate with a strong academic background
*This is a part time role - 4 days a week but you must be willing to work Fridays
*Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
Day-to-day duties will include:
*Client onboarding
*AML checks
*Using CLeO systems
*Filing, post handling, scanning and document management
*Sending documents to the correct departments
*Assisting with marketing articles and content
