JOB TITLE: Production Engineer
LOCATION: Fareham
SALARY: £45,000 - £50,000
WAY OF WORKING: Full Time | Office-based | 2 year fixed term contract
THE BUSINESS:
C4S Search are pleased to be working with a leading manufacturing company.
THE PRODUCTION ENGINEER OPPORTUNITY:
*Interpret customer documentation, including Bills of Materials (BoMs), specifications, drawings, sketch sheets, and assembly/test schedules, to ensure robust manufacturing processes.
*Develop and document processes and procedures for the production of parts and sub-assemblies.
*Ensure full validation of all manufacturing processes.
*Support the Non-Conformance Report (NCR) process by implementing corrective actions.
*Specify required equipment and tooling for new production products.
YOUR KEY SKILLS:
*Proficient in SolidWorks; experience with EdgeCAM is a plus.
*Knowledge of Production Engineering, preferably within Aerospace or other regulated high-tech manufacturing environments.
*Capable of planning and delivering projects to agreed deadlines.
*Strong IT skills, including proficiency with MS Office applications.
*Experienced in creating and modifying machine programs for 5-axis machining centers and mill/turn lathes.
*Skilled in creating and updating technical documentation.
*Familiar with problem-solving methodologies and tools.
