Job Opportunity: Corporate Solicitor – 2+ PQE
Location: Glasgow
Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Solicitor to join a busy and high-performing deals team advising ambitious, founder-led and high-growth businesses across Scotland and the wider UK. You will work on a mix of investments, acquisitions, disposals and shareholder arrangements, with exposure to transactions of varying size and complexity across sectors such as technology, healthcare and other innovation-driven industries.
Role Requirements:
- Managing your own client portfolio with early client contact
- Advising on investments, acquisitions, disposals and share arrangements
- Drafting and negotiating corporate documents and supporting deal delivery
- Working closely with colleagues at all levels on complex transactions
- Leading smaller matters independently while contributing to larger deals
- Building long-term client relationships based on practical, clear advice
Experience:
- Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE in corporate transactional work
- Experience taking deals from start to finish
- Confident handling client-facing responsibilities
- Interest in working with founder-led and high-growth businesses
Skills:
- Personable communicator with a client-focused approach
- Commercially aware with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Collaborative and engaged team contributor
- Attention to detail with proactive problem-solving abilities
