Signature Recruitment is recruiting a Grant Application Administrator to support a government-funded programme delivered by a mission-driven London organisation.
This is a temporary role offered for an initial three-month period. Work is fully remote, with the organisation based in London. With an hourly rate of £14.30, candidates must be comfortable working from home using their own laptop. The role supports a national funding programme within a busy, collaborative grants administration team. It suits someone who enjoys taking ownership, working with structure, and managing changing priorities. Day-to-day activity focuses on coordination, clear communication, and maintaining accurate funding records.
Grant Application Administrator – Key Responsibilities:*Act as a first point of contact for organisations seeking grant funding
*Carry out initial eligibility checks using clear guidance and procedures
*Manage a shared customer inbox and respond to enquiries promptly
*Gather, review, and clarify documentation to support full assessments
*Prepare and issue offer documentation following internal approval
*Carry out basic due diligence checks and maintain accurate records
*Support grant triage to enable timely monthly disbursements
*Schedule and conduct calls to confirm figures, dates, and claims
*Update payment and claim data accurately within Salesforce
Grant Application Administrator – Key Skills:*Administrative experience within busy or process-driven environments
*Some finance administration experience, including reviewing and reconciling invoices and receipts
*High attention to detail when handling financial documentation
*Confidence ensuring accuracy and compliance through careful checking
*Customer-focused communication during sensitive or difficult conversations
*Ability to learn new systems quickly and adapt to new processes
