Compliance Monitoring Officer, Midlands (Hybrid/remote). Up to £50,000 plus bonus and benefits.
Excellent opportunity to join an expanding large independent Insurance business that will enable you to further develop your skills/experience and progress your career. You’ll be joining a Compliance Team of 20, working closely with and supporting the Compliance Monitoring Manager.
The role:
*Conducting 2nd line reviews to assess the quality, accuracy and compliance of first line activity.
*Identify trends and control gaps, reporting findings clearly, objectively and in a timely manner.
*Provide practical and proportionate recommendations to strengthen controls and support good customer outcomes.
*Supporting the Monitoring Manager in the development of the annual Compliance Monitoring Assurance Plan.
*Carry out additional file reviews in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan or at the request of the business.
You’ll need:
*Previous experience in a similar role (compliance, audit, quality assurance or a similar oversight role) preferably gained within the insurance market.
*A solid understanding of FCA requirements, including core regulatory principles
*Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret information, identify issues and make evidence-based conclusions.
*Highly organised, with a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
*Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
