Group Accountant | PE-Backed Tech Business | Manchester City Centre | Newly Qualified | Hands-On Role | Business Partnering Focus

We’re working with an innovative and forward-thinking tech company based in Manchester City Centre. Backed by private equity and on a steep growth trajectory, the business has a dynamic, modern culture and a clear vision for the future. The finance team is lean, collaborative, and highly engaged with the wider business.
Key Responsibilities
As Group Accountant, you’ll take on a varied and hands-on role, working closely with the Financial Controller and wider business teams. You’ll play a key part in delivering accurate financial information, improving processes, and acting as a true business partner across departments.
Key Responsibilities
*Preparation of group consolidated accounts and management reporting
*Supporting budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
*Partnering with department heads to provide financial insight and support decision-making
*Contributing to the development of internal controls and process improvements
*Liaising with auditors and supporting year end processes
*Ad hoc project work related to growth, acquisitions and system improvements
Key Skills preferred
*Newly qualified ACA / ACCA (or equivalent)
*Audit experience from a smaller or mid-tier firm, ideally with hands on exposure to SME clients
*Strong technical skills, with a proactive and commercially minded approach
*Excellent communication skills and an interest in working closely with non-finance stakeholders
*Ambition to grow with a business going through change and expansion
