A leading UK Pensions Manager is seeking an ERP Finance Project Manager to lead the finance migration as part of a multi-year Workday transformation programme on an initial 6 month contract.

A leading UK pensions manager is seeking an experienced ERP Finance Project Manager to lead a major finance systems migration as part of a large-scale ERP transformation. This hybrid role offers flexibility between London City and remote working. You’ll collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, IT, and Change to ensure a seamless transition from legacy systems to a modern ERP platform.
Your Role: *Lead the end-to-end delivery of the finance systems migration workstream within the ERP programme.
*Develop and manage project plans covering scope, timelines, milestones, RAID logs, and resource allocation.
*Establish robust governance frameworks and provide regular progress updates to senior stakeholders.
*Oversee cutover planning, including data migration, dry runs, and go-live execution.
*Act as a bridge between Finance SMEs and IT teams to align technical and business requirements.
*Support business readiness through training schedules, communications planning, and user adoption initiatives.
Your Profile: *Proven experience managing finance system migrations in regulated sectors (e.g., pensions or investment management).
*Strong knowledge of core finance processes (GL, AP/AR, Treasury, Payments, Reconciliations).
*Expertise in cutover planning and delivering complex transformation programmes with robust governance.
*Familiarity with leading ERP platforms (Workday Financials, Oracle Fusion, SAP, or MS Dynamics preferred).
*Exceptional stakeholder management skills and experience with RAID management practices.
*Collaborative mindset with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
