Management Accountant

Based in the UK head office, this Management Accountant role sits within a collaborative UK Finance team. You’ll play a key role in financial control, reporting, and insight, while also managing a small accounting team and supporting continuous improvement across finance processes.

What You’ll Be Doing
*Producing full monthly management accounts with clear analysis and commentary
*Completing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving discrepancies
*Managing and supporting a small general accounting team
*Partnering with the Financial Controller to review processes, controls and risk areas
*Preparing VAT returns and other statutory/government reporting
*Supporting group risk management and internal control frameworks
*Contributing to business intelligence and reporting tools
*Performing monthly OPEX variance analysis
*Supporting ad-hoc projects and continuous improvement initiatives
About You
*Qualified Management Accountant (CIMA or ACCA)
*Previous line management or team-lead experience
*Strong Excel skills (including pivot tables and VLOOKUP)
*Experience working with ERP systems (JD Edwards preferred) and BI tools (Tableau / Power BI)
*Background in a product-led business such as manufacturing, retail or distribution
*Comfortable working in a multi-currency environment
*Highly organised, detail-focused and able to manage competing priorities
*Confident communicator with a practical, solutions-focused mindset
*Flexible, proactive and able to perform well under pressure
