Job Description:
Mitchell Adam are supporting a fast-growing business is seeking an Interim Management Accountant to take ownership of stock accounting and movement of goods across devices, machines and spare parts.
A successful candidate will be responsible preparing the monthly management accounts with analysis and commentary, support month end close, journals and balance sheet reconciliations. Manage stock accounting and inventory valuation as well as reconciling the movement of goods across warehouses, field engineers, and customers.
Ideally you will:
*Be a part-qualified or qualified accountant (CIMA / ACCA / ACA) or strong QBE
*Have strong experience in inventory/stock accounting ideally within a manufacturing or logistics driven businesses.
*Hold Advanced Excel and ERP system experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics D365
*Be able to hit the ground running in a new environment, strong attention to details and ability to work autonomously.
In return you will:
*Exposure to both operations and financial management in a well established and fast growing business.
*Work directly with the Financial Controller as well as experience managing a direct report.
*Key contributor to accurate financial reporting and stock control as well as full autonomy on process improvement within the role.
*Short-term contract with potential for extension from the comfort of your own home in this remote role.
