This is a senior leadership opportunity for a fully qualified accountant with a background in the Financial Services industry, looking to step into a strategic role within an established yet dynamic business.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will play a key role in shaping and delivering the firm’s financial strategy, working closely with the Senior Management Team to support commercial decision-making and drive business performance.
You will be responsible for providing high-quality financial insight, constructively challenging assumptions, and influencing decisions at a senior level. This is a highly visible role within a successful and collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities
*Develop and deliver the financial strategy aligned to business objectives
*Provide commercial insight to support strategic and operational decision-making
*Evaluate growth opportunities and financial performance
*Support and influence key business decisions with robust analysis
*Contribute to M&A activity where applicable, including opportunity evaluation and deal strategy
About You
*Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA or equivalent)
*Previous experience within the Financial Services sector
*Strong commercial acumen with the ability to think strategically and analytically
*Confident communicator, comfortable influencing, negotiating and challenging constructively
*Highly detail-oriented, results-focused and proactive
This role would suit someone currently operating in a Commercial Finance or Finance Business Partner position who is ready to take the next step into a senior leadership role.
