Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking a dedicated Quality Assurance Technician to join our team. This role is crucial for promoting quality, safety, and legality of our product range, focusing on factory and warehouse operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring compliance, conducting audits, and ensuring the implementation of Quality Management System (QMS) policies.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Act as the primary point of contact on shift for all product, process, and QA equipment-related issues and queries.
*Manage held stock, including administration and communication of non-conforming products, ensuring physical labelling, and performing stock inspections.
*Complete raw product analysis and internal audits in a timely manner according to set schedules.
*Maintain documentation for the Quality Management System and ensure compliance with documented inspection schedules.
*Communicate non-conformities and monitor corrective actions.
*Maintain swabbing and sampling plans, organise samples for laboratory sending, and manage goods receipt intake inspections for raw materials.
*Manage the retention and stock rotation of all reference samples.
*Arrange, host, and document results of organoleptic (taste) panels.
*Perform calibration/verification checks of scientific equipment such as refractometers, pH meters, and viscometers.
*Carry out additional tasks as requested by the line manager.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Proven experience in a similar role within a QA/Technical environment.
*Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and compliance monitoring.
*Ability to perform detailed audits and maintain accurate records.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively manage stock and report issues.
*Proficiency in using QA databases and SAP for stock management.
*Capability to perform scientific equipment checks and manage corrective actions.
