Description
*Cross-department collaboration inclusive of attending and speaking in business meetings, presenting in front of colleagues and knowledge sharing
*Monthly / Quarterly / Annual reporting preparation & consolidation
*Project work involving creating, leading or supporting projects
*Performing management accounting duties with accuracy and attention to detail *Monthly management accounts including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
*Posting key journals entries
*Balance sheet reconciliations

*Identify areas of improvement and implement robust processes
*Support with financial internal & external auditors
*Assist with year-end statutory accounts
*Develop and maintain robust processes and controls in line with Group requirements
*Ensure consistent documentation of tasks and activities according to internal policies
Profile
A successful Interim Senior Management Accountant should have:
*Qualified accountant ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent.
*Strong technical knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
*Proven experience in management accounting within the retail industry.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Proficiency in financial software and advanced Excel skills.
*Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
*Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
