A leading UK professional services firm is expanding its specialist financial reporting function and is looking to appoint a Financial Reporting Executive. This is a newly created role offering real ownership of statutory accounts production for a varied audit client portfolio. You’ll work closely with audit teams, taking responsibility for high-quality financial reporting and acting as a technical point of contact for both clients and internal stakeholders.
Financial Reporting Executive – The Package:

Financial Reporting Executive – Responsibilities:
*Preparation of statutory accounts and financial statements
*Financial reporting under UK GAAP, IFRS (desirable), Charities SORP and Housing SORP
*Preparation of consolidated accounts and related disclosures
*Supporting audit teams during finalisation of financial statements
*Direct liaison with clients on accounts, judgements and disclosures
*Identifying client-specific accounting and reporting issues
*Keeping up to date with regulatory and accounting standard changes
*Providing ad-hoc technical and reporting support to audit teams
Financial Reporting Executive – Person Spec:
*Proven experience preparing full sets of statutory accounts
*Background in accountancy practice or professional services
*Exposure to multiple accounting frameworks (UK GAAP essential)
*Audit experience beneficial but not essential
*Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
*Detail-focused with a commitment to high-quality client service
*ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) preferred
