Job Description:
The Junior Financial Controller will support the finance department with accounting, reporting, and financial planning in the leisure, travel, and tourism industry. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to ensure accurate financial management and compliance.

Description
*Prepare and analyse financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
*Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
*Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
*Assist in managing accounts payable and receivable.
*Collaborate with internal teams to optimise financial performance.
*Monitor cash flow and provide recommendations for improvement.
*Identify and implement process improvements within the finance function.
*Provide support during audits and liaise with external auditors.
Profile
A successful Junior Financial Controller should have:
*ACCA / CIMA / ACA qualified or equivalent
*Recent industry experience (travel, tourism or leisure industry desirable)
*Strong knowledge of FRS 102, UK PAYE, payroll, and compliance
* Familiarity with group/consolidated reporting
* Experience with FX revaluations
* Working knowledge of Xero as the core system
* Exposure to CRM integration/implementation
* Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPs
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders
Job Offer
*£50,000 to £60,000 salary
