Our Client, Trafford Council, is seeking a Practice Manager to join their Children’s Team.

Responsibilities of this role:
*Providing regular, reflective 1-to-1 or group supervision to team members, focusing on practice development, case management, and staff wellbeing.
*Monitoring staff performance, setting objectives, and addressing underperformance.
*Identifying training needs, organizing skill-sharing, and promoting professional development.
*Case Management and Quality Assurance
*Reviewing cases to ensure they meet statutory, legal, and procedural requirements.
*Conducting audits and reviewing case files to maintain high standards of practice.
*Providing expert advice on complex, high-risk cases.
*Developing safety plans and, where necessary, referring cases to legal proceedings or multi-agency panels.
Requirements of this role:
*Must be a Qualified Social Worker, registered with Social Work England.
*Must have a Social Work qualification (Diploma in social work, social work degree or equivalent)
*Must have minimum of 3 years’ Post Qualifying Experience
