Part-Time Accountant
Location: York (Office Based)
Salary: £20 per hour
Hours: Part-time – flexible and negotiable (can suit school hours)
We are looking for an experienced Part-Time Accountant to join our growing business at our York office. This is a hands-on role with responsibility for day-to-day accounting operations and oversight of a small accounts team, working closely with senior management.
Key Responsibilities*Leading and supporting a small internal accounts team
*Day-to-day bookkeeping and financial administration
*Sales and purchase ledger management
*Bank reconciliations
*Assisting with month-end processes and reporting
*Providing financial support and insight to the leadership team
*Work directly with our external Accountants
About You*Proven experience in a similar accounting or bookkeeping role
*Comfortable working in an office-based environment
*Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
*Confident working independently and managing priorities
*Experience working with small teams is advantageous
