Reed Business Support’s client, a well-established organisation based in Maidstone, is seeking a HR Administrator & Recruitment Assistant to join their growing HR team. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys variety, thrives on detail, and is passionate about supporting both employees and hiring managers across the business.
The RoleYou will play a key part in supporting the full employee lifecycle, from recruitment to onboarding and ongoing HR administration. Duties include:
HR Administration*Maintaining employee records, HR databases and digital filing
*Preparing contracts, onboarding packs and induction materials
*Processing changes, leavers, probation reviews and training records
*Supporting HR reporting, absence tracking and compliance tasks
*Assisting with HR queries and providing first-line support to employees
Recruitment Support*Advertising vacancies across job boards and social platforms
*Screening CVs and shortlisting candidates
*Coordinating interviews and booking assessments
*Liaising with hiring managers on recruitment timelines and updates
*Supporting with offers, right-to-work checks and onboarding documentation
About YouWe are looking for someone who is:
*Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail
*A confident communicator with a friendly, professional manner
*Able to prioritise a busy workload and manage multiple deadlines
*Experienced within HR, recruitment, or an administrative support role
*Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively
*Competent using Microsoft Office, HR databases or ATS systems (desirable)
