Job Description:
Nurture Fosttering is a small, family-owned Independent Fostering Agency based on Lewisham High Street. We are seeking an experienced and motivated Team Manager to join our service on a maternity cover basis, providing strong leadership and support to a dedicated team of social workers.
Working in close partnership with the Registered Manager, you will play a key role in maintaining high-quality practice, ensuring regulatory compliance, and improving outcomes for children and young people in our care.
Key Responsibilities *Lead, support, and manage a team of social workers, promoting a culture of reflective practice and continuous learning
*Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements
*Maintain a strong focus on safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children in care
*Work collaboratively with the Registered Manager to deliver the agency’s vision and objectives
*Proactively identify opportunities to enhance service quality and outcomes
*Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key stakeholders
*Attend statutory meetings and empower social workers to feel confident and supported in their roles
*Quality assure annual reviews and Form F fostering assessments
About You *Qualified Social Worker
*Registered with Social Work England
*Previous experience in a Team Manager or management role
*Strong knowledge of relevant childcare legislation and fostering regulations
