Recruit UK are working with one of the UK’s largest providers of Investment Services. Due to expansion, they have an exciting opportunity for a Investment Administrator in their Newcastle office.
They are looking for an experienced Administrator who will provide high-quality administrative support to Investment Managers, enabling the delivery of strong client outcomes. Operate efficiently and accurately in line with company processes and regulatory compliance requirements. Reporting to the Investment Assistant Manager, support Portfolio Management teams with the day-to-day administration involved in monitoring client portfolios in accordance with established procedures and investment models. Work collaboratively with the Investment Assistant on the desk to ensure the team receives consistent and effective support.
Duties will include but not limited to:
*Administrative support as directed by the Investment Assistant Manager
*Supporting various teams as necessary e.g., writing up file notes, drafting letters, arranging client meetings
*Developing and maintaining client relationships by providing accurate and timely administration support, adapting your approach for clients in vulnerable circumstances
*Account opening and closing
*Transfer of stock into accounts and payments
*Updating Avaloq with static data
*Producing excel reports via data held on Avaloq
*When required to support the Desk, placing trades in Avaloq based on received instructions from other staff on the Desk, ensuring they are executed and booked correctly

Skills and experience required:
*Experience as a Administrator in a financial planning or investment management firm
