Salary: £50,000 – £70,000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week
Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced and passionate Registered Care Home Manager to lead our residential care home supporting older adults with a range of physical health conditions and mental impairments.
This is a hands-on leadership role within a new service, offering a unique opportunity to shape the culture, standards, and future direction of the home from the outset. If you are driven to deliver outstanding care while leading and developing a committed team, we would love to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities
*Oversee the day-to-day management of the care home, ensuring safe, high-quality, person-centred care
*Ensure full compliance with CQC regulations and maintain excellent inspection outcomes
*Recruit, train, develop, and lead a motivated and compassionate care team
*Develop and implement individualised care plans that promote independence and enhance quality of life
*Build and maintain strong professional relationships with local authorities, social workers, commissioners, and healthcare professionals
*Manage budgets, staffing levels, and resources efficiently
*Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive workplace culture
*Drive continuous improvement in service quality and resident experience


Skills and Experience Required
*Proven experience managing a medium-sized residential care home
*Strong working knowledge of CQC standards and regulatory compliance
*Experience liaising with external stakeholders including commissioners and social services
*Excellent leadership and people-management skills
*Ability to motivate, inspire, and develop teams
*A proactive and solution-focused approach
*A genuine passion for supporting and caring for older people


Qualifications Required
*NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health & Social Care (or working towards ) –
*Current experience or eligibility to register with the CQC as a Registered Manager
