Job Description:
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher to support high-quality teaching and learning. You will provide targeted support to individuals and small groups, contribute to classroom planning, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment.
Key Responsibilities: * Support the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management.
* Deliver targeted interventions in literacy and numeracy.
* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils.
* Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and engagement.
* Assist with planning activities, preparing resources, and classroom organisation.
* Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
* Uphold safeguarding and inclusion policies at all times.
Requirements: * Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
* Experience working in a primary school or educational setting.
* Strong communication, organisation, and teamwork skills.
* A proactive, patient, and supportive approach.
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply.
