Job Description:
Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Rochdale
Pay Rate: £16.16 to £19.29 p/h
Shifts: 4 on 4 off or any 5 of 7 days with varied start times
Driver: Class 1
Experience: 12 months Class 1 essential
Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for reliable, experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving. Whether you’re looking for full-time, part-time or flexible shifts – we’d love to hear from you.
What You’ll Do: *Trunking work across the UK
*Safely operate Class 1 vehicles on planned routes
*Conduct daily vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork
*Follow all driving laws and company procedures
*Represent the company professionally at client sites
What You Need:
*A valid UK HGV Class 1 Licence
*A current UK Driver CPC (DCPC) card
*A valid Digital Tachograph card
*Up to 6 points accepted on licence (No DD, DR, CD, TT, IN endorsements)
*A professional attitude and good communication skills
You must be a UK resident to be considered for this opportunity. We are unable to assist with VISA applications and cannot assist with relocation.
