Internal Sales Coordinator
Location: Sherburn in Elmet (Office-based)
Salary: £30,000 - £32,000
We’re recruiting an Internal Sales Coordinator to join a growing engineering business based in Sherburn in Elmet. This is a newly developed role, created to strengthen customer service, follow-up, and communication throughout the sales order process.
You’ll manage orders end-to-end, from quotation through to delivery, working closely with estimators, engineers, and the wider sales team to ensure customers receive a smooth, professional experience.
The Role: * Manage the full sales order process from quote to delivery
* Prepare and issue basic quotations (technical training will be given)
* Proactively follow up on quotations to support conversion
* Act as a key point of contact for customers via phone and email
* Work closely with estimators and engineers to support accurate order processing
* Liaise internally to ensure orders progress smoothly and deadlines are met
* Support initial customer enquiries
What We’re Looking For: * Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with customers
* Customer-focused mindset with a proactive approach to follow-up
* Highly organised with good attention to detail
* Comfortable working in a fast-paced, office-based environment
* Previous experience in internal sales, sales support / admin, or customer service is beneficial, but not essential
