Children’s Home Registered Manager or Children’s Home Deputy Manager (Step-Up Opportunity)
Location: Sutton, Surrey
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours (Monday–Friday)
Salary: £55,000 – £60,000

We are seeking an experienced Children’s Home Registered Manager, or a confident Children’s Home Deputy Manager ready to step up into a Registered Manager role, to lead a newly opening 5-bed children’s home in Sutton, Surrey, supporting young people aged 11–18 with emotional and behavioural needs.
This Children’s Home Registered Manager / Children’s Home Deputy Manager opportunity allows you to shape a home from the ground up, build your own team, and deliver outstanding, relationship-based care within a warm, family-style environment.
The role – Children’s Home Registered Manager / Deputy Manager
*Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the children’s home
*Recruit, develop, and support a high-quality residential care team
*Ensure safeguarding, care planning, and regulatory compliance
*Prepare for and lead inspections as Children’s Home Registered Manager
*Build strong relationships with children, families, and professionals
*Create a safe, stable, and child-centred home culture

About you – Children’s Home Registered Manager / Deputy Manager
*Children’s Home Registered Manager or an experienced Children’s Home Deputy Manager ready to step up
*Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Care (or equivalent)
*Proven leadership experience within residential childcare
*Confident in safeguarding, inspections, and team leadership
*Passionate about relationship-based, trauma-informed care
*Resilient, reflective, and committed to high standards
