Are you an experienced bookkeeper/Accounts Assistant looking for a new challenge?
Our client located in the centre of Harrogate is looking for an Accounts/Bookkeeper to provide day to day administration and financial management support to the office.
The role is key to the smooth operation of the office.
Key Responsibilities
*Maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and financial ledgers
*Preparing budgets and monitoring expenditure against forecasts
*Raising invoices, processing payments, and managing client accounts
*Preparing year-end financial documentation for external accountants
*Liaising with accountants and responding to financial queries
*Managing the day-to-day running of the office & answering the telephone
*Managing diaries, appointments, and meeting arrangements
*Acting as the first point of contact for clients and external parties
*Maintaining accurate client and enquiry records
*Liaising with solicitors, estate agents, lenders, and clients
Skills & Experience Required:
*Proven bookkeeping/Accounts experience
*Strong IT skills, including accounting software and Microsoft Office
*Excellent written and verbal communication skills
*High level of accuracy and attention to detail
*Able to work on their own initiative
In return you will be offered:
*37.5 hour working week.
