Job Description:
Client:
Castlefield Recruitment are working exclusively with a North West based Housing Association in order to recruit a Rents and Service Charge Manager on a permanent basis and can offer fully remote working opportunities.
Role:
The Rent and Service Charge Manager will be responsible for the delivery and management of all aspects of rent and service charges and will be a key point of contact for tenants, stakeholders and colleagues across the organisation
Duties will include;
· Manage the annual rent setting exercise for tenants and final rent and service charge calculations
· Ensure all Regulatory and Legislation requirements are met
· Review and update of the rents and service charges policy
· Reconciliation of rent and service charge accounts and the preparation of annual statements
· Preparation and submission of the Statistical Data Return to the Regulator of Social Housing
Person:
· Extensive experience of the management of rent and service charges.
· In depth knowledge of rent and service charge legislation
· Accounting qualification preferred but not essential
