We are currently recruiting for an Accounts Payable Assistant to join a well-established business based in Liverpool City Centre on a 12-month fixed-term contract.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong Accounts Payable experience who enjoys working in a busy, fast-paced finance environment and is confident using Excel to analyse and manage data effectively.
Key Responsibilities:*Processing a high volume of supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
*Matching, batching and coding invoices
*Resolving invoice queries with suppliers and internal stakeholders
*Preparing and processing payment runs
*Reconciling supplier statements
*Assisting with month-end Accounts Payable tasks
*Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with internal controls
The Ideal Candidate:*Previous experience in an Accounts Payable or Purchase Ledger role
*Strong Excel skills with the ability to analyse data and identify discrepancies
*An analytical mindset with excellent attention to detail
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
*Well organised, able to prioritise workload and meet deadlines
*A proactive team player with good communication skills
