Job Description:

You can be based in Ipswich or fully remote - the choice is yours.
The Role As an Account Handler / Manager, you’ll take responsibility for a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring smooth renewals, mid-term adjustments, and excellent day-to-day service. You’ll work closely with Account Executives and the wider team to deliver outstanding client experiences while identifying opportunities for growth and cross-selling additional products.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of technical insurance work, relationship management, and business development.
Key Responsibilities * Manage and develop a portfolio of commercial clients, providing advice and support
* Handle renewals, mid-term adjustments, and client queries efficiently
* Prepare policy documentation, submissions, and insurer communications
* Liaise with insurers to negotiate terms and ensure competitive coverage
* Identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities across commercial insurance products
* Maintain compliance with regulatory and internal procedures
* Support Account Executives in delivering high-quality service to clients
About You * Proven experience as a Commercial Account Handler / Manager
* Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and UK market risks
* Confident managing client relationships and providing technical advice
* ACII qualified or working towards (desirable, not essential)
* Excellent written and verbal communication, organisational skills, and attention to detail
* Comfortable working independently in an office or remotely while collaborating with a team
