Retail ManagerLocation: Chigwell
Salary: £50,000 – £55,000 OTE
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
OverviewWe are recruiting for an experienced and commercially driven Retail Manager to lead a successful automotive retail operation in Chigwell. This is a key leadership role, responsible for driving sales performance, managing the showroom team, and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Key Responsibilities*Lead, motivate, and develop the sales team to achieve and exceed targets
*Drive new and used vehicle sales performance and profitability
*Oversee day-to-day showroom operations
*Ensure exceptional customer experience and high CSI scores
*Monitor KPIs including volume, margin, finance, and add-on products
*Coach, train, and performance-manage the sales team
*Ensure FCA compliance and adherence to company processes
*Work closely with senior management to deliver business objectives
Skills & Experience Required*Proven experience as a Retail Manager or Sales Manager within automotive retail
*Strong leadership and people-management skills
*Results-driven with strong commercial awareness
*Excellent communication and customer-facing skills
*Sound knowledge of FCA regulations and compliance
*Full UK driving licence
