Interim People Partner (Employee Relations / Resourcing / Talent)
Day Rate: £185 per day - £215 per day
Duration: Interim (Approx 3 months)
About the Role
Reed HR have partnered with a fantastic organisation who is seeking an experienced Interim People Partner to join a large and complex organisation undergoing significant development and transformation. You will work closely with senior leaders to deliver practical, people-focused solutions that enhance organisational capability and support strategic objectives.
Taking ownership of a defined client group, you will lead a small team, act as the primary People & Culture representative, and drive best practice across the full employee lifecycle. Depending on your expertise, you will lead on Employee Relations & Change, Resourcing, or Talent Management as the subject matter expert.
Key Responsibilities
People Partnering & Leadership
*Lead, coach, and develop a small team, ensuring high-quality delivery across all people processes.
*Partner with senior leaders to address people-related challenges and build organisational capability.
*Provide insight and recommendations to inform strategic decision-making.
*Shape and deliver people solutions that combine operational rigour with strategic impact.
*Communicate policy and process updates clearly across the client group.
*Collaborate with other business functions to deliver joined-up, data-informed people insights.
*Lead organisational change programmes, including restructures and culture initiatives.
*Deliver engaging training and promote continuous professional development across management groups.
*Oversee efficient, compliant delivery of HR operations across recruitment, onboarding, ER casework, lifecycle processes, and exits.
*Drive operational excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement in people processes.
Generic Responsibilities
*Work collaboratively across the People & Culture directorate to deliver a consistent, efficient service.
*Act as an ambassador for the People & Culture function.
*Maintain your own continuous professional development.
*Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
*Role model organisational values.

Person Specification
*Chartered Member of CIPD (MCIPD) or equivalent experience.
*Strategic HR expertise with demonstrable experience in employee relations, organisational change, and senior-level business partnering.
*Deep knowledge of UK employment law, risk mitigation, and case management.
*Experience leading significant organisational change initiatives.
*Skilled in using people analytics to inform decisions and policy design.
*Experience working with trade unions or employee representative groups.
*Proven ability to coach managers and develop HR teams.
*Demonstrable experience designing and delivering organisation-wide approaches to ER & change, resourcing, or talent management.
*Strong relationship building, influencing ability, and evidence-based decision-making.
