Job Description:
Our client, a leading provider of marine engineering training, is seeking qualified instructors to join their team at in Gosport, Portsmouth. This permanent role offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic training environment specialising in mechanical, electrical, and marine engineering disciplines.
Key Responsibilities: *Provide high-quality training to engineering students in areas such as welding, gunships, coppersmith, and pipe fitting
*Develop and deliver course content according to predefined curriculum.
*Conduct assessments to evaluate student progress and competency
*Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance
*Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement activities
*Ensure all training is conducted in accordance with health and safety regulations
*Facilitate practical tests and competency-based evaluations
*Provide feedback to students to support their ongoing development
Job Requirements: *Degree in Engineering (mandatory) OR Level 3 or 4 HND in Engineering
*Experience in mechanical, electrical, or marine engineering
*Excellent communication and presentation skills
*Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
*Commitment to student success and professional development
*Prior experience in a training or instructional role is advantageous
*Must be able to obtain security clearance
