Job Description:
Interim Financial Controller - Automotive/Manufacturing - Coventry
Day Rate: £300-£400 per day
Location: Coventry (Onsite, 4 days per week)
Contract: Interim (6 months)
Key Responsibilities:
*Oversee all financial operations for the plant, including management reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis
*Business partner with operations, supply chain, and management to drive efficiency and profitability
*Manage month-end and year-end close, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery of financial statements
*Lead local finance team and provide coaching as needed
*Ensure compliance with internal controls and external regulatory requirements
*Liaise with auditors and group finance functions
Essential Requirements:
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA), or equivalent
*Substantial experience in a Financial Controller or Finance Manager role within the automotive sector
*Previous experience in high volume, complex, or heavy manufacturing environments
*Strong working knowledge of management accounting, controls, and business partnering
*Availability for an immediate start and willingness to work onsite 4 days per week in Coventry
