A forward-thinking SEN school in Sonning Common is recruiting a Complex Needs Support Assistant to work with pupils who have multiple additional needs, including Autism, learning difficulties, trauma, and medical or developmental needs. This role offers invaluable experience within a therapeutic and child-centred setting.
Role Details:
*Role:Complex Needs Support Assistant
*Location: Sonning Common, Oxfordshire
*Pay: £89-£100 per day
*Start: ASAP
*Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
*Age Range: 5-18 years
Complex Needs Support Assistant Responsibilities:
*Provide tailored 1:1 support for pupils with complex needs
*Assist with emotional regulation, behaviour support, and daily routines
*Support learning activities adapted to individual ability and needs
*Help maintain a calm, safe, and structured environment
*Liaise with SEN staff, therapists, and pastoral teams
