Job Title: Regional Care Home Manager


Salary: From £70,000 per annum (competitive with bonus scheme)
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Our client is seeking an experienced Regional Care Home Manager to lead their Region. You will work closely with the Care Managing Director and Operations Director to oversee the development, commissioning, and management of multiple care homes over the next four years, encompassing up to 2,000 beds.
This is a senior leadership role requiring strategic vision, operational expertise, and the ability to inspire and manage managers and their teams to deliver safe, high-quality care to every resident.


Key Responsibilities
*Lead and manage the Region, ensuring operational excellence across multiple care homes
*Collaborate with senior leadership to plan and deliver newly commissioned care homes
*Motivate, support, and develop care home managers and their teams
*Ensure compliance with CQC, CCG, and local authority regulations
*Oversee quality, safety, and resident-centred care across all homes in the region
*Drive innovation, continuous improvement, and business growth initiatives
*Monitor performance, implement operational standards, and support problem-solving at a regional level
*Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional culture across the region


Skills & Experience
*Proven senior management experience in a similar-sized region or portfolio of care/nursing homes
*Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
*Commercial awareness and competency within the care sector (preferred)
*Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and operate effectively in a dynamic environment
*Excellent interpersonal, influencing, and communication skills
*Self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and able to operate on own initiative
*Knowledge of Care Quality Commission standards, local authority requirements, and care industry best practices
*Previous experience as a Registered Manager in a senior leadership capacity is desirable
