The Employment team is recognised for delivering commercially focused, pragmatic advice on complex and high-value matters.
The Role
An opportunity has arisen for a talented Employment Solicitor to join our top-tier Employment team in Manchester. You will work closely with a Partners on a broad mix of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, with early exposure to high-quality work and direct client contact.

Key Responsibilities
*Advising employers and senior individuals on a full range of employment law matters
*Managing contentious matters including Employment Tribunal claims and litigation
*Drafting and advising on contracts of employment, service agreements, policies and procedures
*Advising on disciplinary, grievance, redundancy and restructuring processes
*Supporting on complex advisory work such as TUPE, corporate transactions and reorganisations
*Negotiating settlement agreements
*Building and maintaining strong client relationships
*Contributing to business development and profile-raising activities
Candidate Requirements
*Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales
*Ideally 2-6 years’ PQE in employment law (flexible depending on experience)
*Strong technical knowledge of both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
*Experience gained at a reputable regional, national or City firm
*Excellent drafting, communication and client-handling skills
*Commercially aware with a practical, solutions-focused approach
*Ambitious, motivated and keen to progress within a leading practice
