Newstaff Employment Services is seeking dedicated 1 to 1 Teaching Assistants to provide personalized support to students within local schools in Leighton Buzzard and surrounding areas. In this impactful role, you will work closely with individual students, helping them to overcome their unique challenges and achieve their academic goals.
Your responsibilities will include providing tailored assistance to students with specific educational needs, helping them stay engaged in lessons, and supporting their personal development. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and want to make a positive difference in students’ lives.
Key Responsibilities:
*Work one-on-one with students to support their learning and development.
*Assist with planning and implementing individualized learning plans.
*Help students with tasks and encourage engagement in classroom activities.
*Monitor and track student progress and report back to teachers.
*Create a supportive and nurturing environment that fosters student growth.
*Collaborate with teachers and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Requirements
We are looking for candidates who:
*Have experience working with children or in educational settings.
*Hold relevant qualifications, such as a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant certification.
*Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Are patient, understanding, and able to adapt to individual learning needs.
*Exhibit a genuine passion for supporting students’ academic and personal growth.
*Can work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
