Paralegal – Crime Team ? Leeds | ? Full-time, Permanent
A busy and expanding Crime team in Leeds is seeking a Criminal Law Paralegal to join on a permanent, full-time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone with a genuine interest in criminal law who is looking to develop their career within a supportive and well-established team.
The role will involve:
*Supporting fee earners on criminal matters
*Providing a high standard of client care
*Managing files via a case management system, including drafting correspondence
*Completing public funding applications
*Preparing, collating and redacting court bundles
*Liaising with Courts, Police, local authorities, medical professionals and experts
The ideal candidate will:
*Have completed or be undertaking legal studies (LPC/BPC, SQE prep or equivalent)
*Demonstrate a clear interest in Criminal Law
*Hold Police Station Accreditation (preferred)
*Be highly organised and able to work well under pressure
The firm operates paperless, has invested heavily in modern IT, and offers strong onsite training for junior team members.
