The job you’ll do:
*Producing schematic diagrams, wiring diagrams, general arrangements, cable block diagrams, cable schedules etc.
*Attend customer reviews to satisfy customer requirements for design.
*Prepare Bill of Materials, Design Intent Document, cable sizing calcs
*Provide Technical support for site.
*Ensure compliance with customer technical specifications and Design Intent Documents.
*Compliance with the department processes and procedures.
*Abide by all Business Compliance requirements in line with Company policies
*Actively support the continuous improvement of Engineering systems and processes.
*Mentoring of Design Engineering staff.
*Assist with in-house training initiatives.
About you:
*HNC or equivalent experience in electrical engineering
*Positive attitude, good communication skills and a willingness to learn.
*Be able to work to deadlines and as part of a team.
*Willing to travel to site throughout the UK.
*Willing to work to develop knowledge and understanding of other job functions.
*Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
