Job Title: Field Service Engineer
Location: Leeds (Travel Required)
Salary: Competitive
About the Role:
Deliver commissioning, maintenance, service, testing, and fault diagnosis of critical infrastructure systems. Provide technical support on-site and remotely, ensuring systems meet customer requirements and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
*Service, maintain, and test all installed systems
*Carry out live working procedures safely
*Prepare service reports and update CRM with work results
*Provide technical support, troubleshooting issues by phone or on-site
*Escalate critical issues per procedure and ensure resolution
*Work with customers, contractors, and internal teams to maintain installation and product quality
*Continuously improve technical knowledge through self-training and formal courses
*Follow health, safety, and quality standards throughout all tasks
About you:
*Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or relevant discipline
*3–5 years’ experience in service/field engineering within power electronics, UPS, or similar technical field
*Knowledge of DC power and AC UPS systems preferred
*Full driving license and willingness to travel extensively
*Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and technical skills
*Excellent verbal and written communication skills, time management, and organisational abilities
*Service-minded, proactive, and team-oriented
