Manchester - Hybrid (3 days per week in office)
On behalf of our client in the IT industry, we are looking for a Data Analyst to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract, supporting a data tidy-up and improvement project.
This role is well suited to a graduate or early-career data professional with the right exposure who enjoys working on data quality, structure and maintenance rather than heavy analysis or stakeholder presentations.

* Cleaning, structuring and maintaining existing datasets
* Writing and updating SQL queries to improve data accuracy and consistency
* Updating and maintaining Power BI dashboards (no presenting required)
* Supporting data pipelines and integrations (exposure to Azure Data Factory is desirable)
* Improving data quality, documentation and internal processes
What we’re looking for * Experience with SQL (commercial, placement, internship or university projects considered)
* Hands-on experience using Power BI
* Exposure to Azure Data Factory is beneficial but not essential
* Strong attention to detail and a methodical, organised approach
* Comfortable working on data clean-up, validation and maintenance tasks
What’s on offer * £26,000-£28,000 salary
* 12-month fixed-term contract
* Hybrid working: 3 days per week in the Manchester office
* A straightforward role focused on data housekeeping rather than analysis or presentations
If you’re looking to build practical, hands-on data experience within an IT environment, this is a great opportunity.
