Description
*Produce monthly management accounts and other financial reporting across a range of entities within the group in accordance with strict deadlines.
*Build out general ledger accounting structure reflecting new entity reporting structures; build out accounting processes and reporting ensuring appropriate internal controls are established and maintained throughout the business.
*To assist in implementing continuous improvement in the quality of financial reporting.
*To identify opportunities for process improvement and automation, drive the implementation of that automation and to review and build out the control environment.
*To undertake ad hoc financial analyses and other activities as required.
Profile
*A qualified accountant with a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience. Strong technical accounting knowledge would be an advantage.
*A minimum of two years experience working in a similar role
*Experience of setting up and building out reporting and controls around general ledger systems including all feeder accounting processes and end user reports including KPIs.
*Capable of working independently, being pro-active and a good relationship builder both within Finance and with the wider business.
*Good analytical ability and commercial acumen and the ability to make constructive challenge.
*Experience of analysing monthly results, investigating anomalies and providing high-quality and insightful commentary.
*Capable of developing and implementing cost centre reporting information for use in communicating costs
*Experience in designing and implementing process and reporting automation.
*Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £45,000 to £55,000 per annum.
